بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ارِيدُ سَفَراً

allahumma inni uridu safaran

O Allah, I intend to travel;

[00:09.00]

فَخِرْ لِي فِيهِ

fakhir li fihi

so, choose for me the best in my journey,

[00:12.00]

وَاوْضِحْ لِي فِيهِ سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّايِ وَفَهِّمْنِيهِ

wa awdih li fihi sabila alrra'yi wa fahhimnihi

make clear before me and inspire to me the right understanding of the most accurate attitude,

[00:19.00]

وَٱفْتَحْ لِي عَزْمِي بِٱلٱِسْتِقَامَةِ

waftah li `azmi bilistiqamati

release my determination by means of straightforwardness,

[00:25.00]

وَٱشْمُلْنِي فِي سَفَرِي بِٱلسَّلاَمَةِ

washmulni fi safari bilssalamati

include me with safety during my journey,

[00:31.00]

وَافِدْنِي جَزِيلَ ٱلْحَظِّ وَٱلْكَرَامَةِ

wa afidni jazila alhazzi walkaramati

furnish me with abundant fortune and honor,

[00:37.00]

وَٱكْلَانِي بِحُسْنِ ٱلْحِفْظِ وَٱلْحِرَاسَةِ

wakla'ni bihusni alhifzi walhirasati

and preserve me with the excellent safeguard and watching.

[00:42.00]

وَجَنِّبْنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ وَعْثَاءَ ٱلاسْفَارِ

wa jannibni allahumma wa`tha'a al-asfari

O Allah, send away from me the inconvenience of journeys,

[00:48.00]

وَسَهِّلْ لِي حُزُونَةَ ٱلاوْعَارِ

wa sahhil li huzunata al-aw`ari

make easy for me the difficulty of roughness,

[00:53.00]

وَٱطْوِ لِي بِسَاطَ ٱلْمَرَاحِلِ

watwi li bisata almarahili

unwrap before me the rug of covering the stations,

[00:57.00]

وَقَرِّبْ مِنِّي بُعْدَ نَايِ ٱلْمَنَاهِلِ

wa qarrib minni bu`da na'yi almanahili

bring nearer to me the remote watering places,

[01:02.00]

وَبَاعِدْ فِي ٱلْمَسِيرِ بَيْنَ خُطَىٰ ٱلرَّوَاحِلِ

wa ba`id fi almasiri bayna khuta alrrawahili

and make spaces to be longer between the steps of our riding animals,

[01:08.00]

حَتَّىٰ تُقَرِّبَ نِيَاطَ ٱلْبَعِيدِ

hatta tuqarriba niyata alba`idi

so that the remote distances will be nearby

[01:14.00]

وَتُسَهِّلَ وُعُورَ ٱلشَّدِيدِ

wa tusahhila wu`ura alshshadidi

and the rough roads will be smooth.

[01:18.00]

وَلَقِّنِي ٱللَّهُمَّ فِي سَفَرِي نُجْحَ طَائِرِ ٱلْوَاقِيَةِ

wa laqqini allahumma fi safari nujha ta'iri alwaqiyati

O Allah, make me find in this journey success over evil omens,

[01:25.00]

وَهَبْنِي فِيهِ غُنْمَ ٱلْعَافِيَةِ

wa habni fihi ghunma al`afiyati

endue me with achievement of wellbeing,

[01:29.00]

وَخَفِيرَ ٱلٱِسْتِقْلاَلِ

wa khafira alistiqlali

safeguard against failure,

[01:34.00]

وَدَلِيلَ مُجَاوَزَةِ ٱلاهْوَالِ

wa dalila mujawazati al-ahwali

guidance to survive dangers,

[01:38.00]

وَبَاعِثَ وُفُورِ ٱلْكِفَايَةِ

wa ba`itha wufuri alkifayati

incentives to gain adequacy,

[01:43.00]

وَسَانِحَ خَفِيرِ ٱلْوِلاَيَةِ

wa saniha khafiri alwilayati

and good opportunity to be protected against authorities.

[01:47.00]

وَٱجْعَلْهُ ٱللَّهُمَّ سَبَبَ عَظِيمِ ٱلسِّلْمِ

waj`alhu allahumma sababa `azimi alssilmi

O Allah, cause my journey to be a reason for winning marvelous security

[01:53.00]

حَاصِلَ ٱلْغُنْمِ

hasila alghunmi

and obtaining profits.

[01:57.00]

وَٱجْعَلِ ٱللَّيْلَ عَلَيَّ سِتْراً مِنَ ٱلآفَاتِ

waj`al allayla `alayya sitran min al-afati

Make night cover me against banes

[02:03.00]

وَٱلنَّهَارَ مَانِعاً مِنَ ٱلْهَلَكَاتِ

walnnahara mani`an min alhalakati

and daytime defend me against perishing things.

[02:09.00]

وَٱقْطَعْ عَنِّي قِطَعَ لُصُوصِهِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ

waqta` `anni qita`a lususihi biqudratika

Out of Your omnipotence, (please) hold back the robbers from reaching me

[02:16.00]

وَٱحْرُسْنِي مِنْ وُحُوشِهِ بِقُوَّتِكَ

wahrusni min wuhushihi biquwwatika

and, out of Your power, guard me against the beasts

[02:22.00]

حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ ٱلسَّلاَمَةُ فِيهِ مُصَاحِبَتِي

hatta takuna alssalamatu fihi musahibati

so that safety will accompany me in my journey,

[02:28.00]

وَٱلْعَافِيَةُ فِيهِ مُقَارِنَتِي

wal`afiyatu fihi muqarinati

wellbeing will attend me,

[02:33.00]

وَٱلْيُمْنُ سَائِقِي

walyumnu sa'iqi

good omen will be driven along with me,

[02:38.00]

وَٱلْيُسْرُ مُعَانِقِي

walyusru mu`aniqi

easiness will embrace me,

[02:43.00]

وَٱلْعُسْرُ مُفَارِقِي

wal`usru mufariqi

difficulty will depart me,

[02:48.00]

وَٱلْفَوْزُ مُوَافِقِي

walfawzu muwafiqi

triumph will agree with me,

[02:52.00]

وَٱلامْنُ مُرَافِقِي

wal-amnu murafiqi

and security will associate with me.

[02:56.00]

إِنَّكَ ذُو ٱلطَّوْلِ وَٱلْمَنِّ

innaka dhu alttawli walmanni

Verily, You are the Lord of bestowals, conferrals,

[03:02.00]

وَٱلْقُوَّةِ وَٱلْحَوْلِ

walquwwati walhawli

power, and might,

[03:06.00]

وَانْتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

wa anta `ala kulli shay'in qadirun

and You have power over all things

[03:11.00]

وَبِعِبَادِكَ بَصِيرٌ خَبِيرٌ

wa bi`ibadika basirun khabirun

and You know and regard all of Your servants.
