بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.

Bismil Laahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ سَابِغِ النِّعَمِ وَ مُفَرِّجِ الْہَمِّ وَ بَارِءِ النَّسَمِ

Alhamdu lillahi saabighin-ni'ami wa mufarrijil-hammi wa baari'in-nasami

Praise be to Allah, the Bestower of blessings, the Reliever of worries, and the Creator of souls

الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ السَّمٰوَاتِ لِکُرْسِیِّهِ عِمَادًا وَ جَعَلَ الْاَرْضَ لِلْعِبَادِ مِہَادًا

Alladhee ja'alas-samaawaati likursiyyihi 'imaadan wa ja'alal-ardha lil'ibaadi mihaadan

Who made the heavens a support for His Throne and made the earth a resting place for His servants

وَ الْجِبَالَ اَوْتَادًا مَلآئِکَتَہٗ عَلٰی اَرْجَائِہَا وَ حَمَلَۃَ عَرْشِہٖ عَلٰی اَمْطَائِہَا

Wal-jibaala awtaadan malaa'ikatahu 'alaa arjaa'ihaa wa hamalata 'arshihi 'alaa amtaa'ihaa

And the mountains as pegs, His angels on its corners, and the bearers of His Throne on its edges

وَ اَقَامَ بِعِزَّتِہٖ اَرْکَانَ الْعَرْشِ وَ اَشْرَقَ بِضَوْئِهٖ شُعَاعَ الشَّمْسِ

Wa aqaama bi'izzatihi arkanal-'arshi wa ashraqa bidhaw'ihi shu'aa'ash-shamsi

And He established by His might the pillars of the Throne and illuminated by His light the rays of the sun

وَ اَطْفَأَ بِشُعَائِہٖ ظُلْمَۃَ الْعَطْشِ وَ فَجَّرَ الْاَرْضَ عُیُوْنًا

Wa atfa'a bishu'aa'ihi dhulmatil-'atshi wa fajjaral-ardha 'uyoonan

And extinguished by His radiance the darkness of thirst and caused springs to gush forth from the earth

وَ الْقَمَرَ نُوْرًا وَ النُّجُوْمَ بُہُوْرًا ثُمَّ تَجَلّٰی فَتَمَکَّنَ

Wal-qamara nooran wan-nujooma buhooran thumma tajallaa fatamakkana

And made the moon a light and the stars brilliant, then He manifested Himself and became established

وَ خَلَقَ فَاَتْقَنَ وَ اَقَامَ فَتَہَیْمَنَ فَخَضَعَتْ لَہٗ نَخْوَۃُ الْمُسْتَکْبِرِ

Wa khalaqa fa'atqana wa aqaama fatahaymana fakhadha'at lahu nakhwatul-mustakbiri

And He created and perfected, and established and dominated, so the pride of the arrogant submitted to Him

وَ طَلَبَتْ اِلَیْہِ خُلَّۃُ الْمُتَمَسْکِنِ

Wa talabat ilayhi khullatul-mutamaskini

And the need of the destitute sought Him

اَللّٰہُمَّ فَبِدَرَجَتِکَ الرَّفِیْعَۃِ وَ مَحَلَّتِکَ الْمَنِیْعَۃِ

Allaahumma fabidrajatikar-rafee'ati wa mahallatikil-manee'ati

O Allah, by Your lofty rank and Your impregnable position

وَ فَضْلِکَ السَّابِغِ وَ سَبِیْلِکَ الْوَاسِعِ

Wa fadhlikas-saabighi wa sabeelika-waasi'i

And Your abundant grace and Your wide path

اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

As'aluka an tusalliya 'alaa Muhammadin wa aali Muhammad

I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

کَمَا دَانَ لَکَ وَ دَعَا اِلٰی عِبَادَتِکَ وَ وَفٰی بِعَہْدِکَ

Kamaa daana laka wa da'aa ilaa 'ibaadatika wa wafaa bi'ahdika

As he was devoted to You and called to Your worship and fulfilled Your covenant

وَ اَنْفَذَ اَحْکَامَکَ وَ اتَّبَعَ اَعْلَامَکَ عَبْدِکَ وَ نَبِیِّکَ

Wa anfadha ahkaamaka wattaba'a a'laamaka 'abdika wa nabiyyika

And implemented Your rulings and followed Your signs, Your servant and Your prophet

وَ اَمِیْنِکَ عَلٰی عَہْدِکَ اِلٰی عِبَادَتِکَ القَائِمِ بِاِحْكَامِكَ

Wa ameenika 'alaa 'ahdika ilaa 'ibaadatikal-qaa'imi bi'ihkaamika

And Your trustee of Your covenant to Your worship, the establisher of Your laws

وَ مُؤَیِّدٍ مَنْ اَطَاعَکَ وَ قَاطِعٍ عُذْرَ مَنْ عَصَاکَ

Wa mu'ayyidin man ataa'aka wa qaati'in 'udhra man 'asaaka

And supporter of those who obey You and cutter of the excuse of those who disobey You

اَللّٰہُمَّ فَاجْعَلْ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْہِ وَ اٰلِہٖ اَجْزَلَ مَنْ جَعَلْتَ لَہٗ نَصِیْبًا مِنْ رَحْمَتِکَ

Allaahumma faj'al Muhammadan sallallaahu 'alayhi wa aalihi ajzala man ja'alta lahu naseeban min rahmatika

O Allah, make Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, the most abundant in share from Your mercy

وَ اَنْضَرَ مَنْ اَشْرَقَ وَجْہُہٗ بِسِجَالِ عَطِیَّتِکَ

Wa andhara man ashraqa wajhuhu bisijali 'atiyyatika

And the most radiant whose face shines with the abundance of Your gift

وَ اَقْرَبَ الْاَنْبِیَاءِ زُلْفَۃً یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَۃِ عِنْدَکَ

Wa aqrabal-anbiyaa'i zulfatan yawmal-qiyaamati 'indaka

And the closest of the prophets in proximity to You on the Day of Resurrection

وَ اَوْفَرَہُمْ حَظًّا مِنْ رِضْوَانِکَ وَ اَکْثَرَہُمْ صُفُوْفَ اُمَّۃٍ فِیْ جَنَابِکَ

Wa awfarahum hadhhan min ridhwaanika wa aktharahum sufoofa ummatin fee janaabika

And the most abundant in share of Your pleasure and the most numerous in ranks of his nation in Your presence

کَمَا لَمْ یَسْجُدُ لِلْاَحْجَارِ وَ لَمْ یَعْتَکِفْ لِلْاَشْجَارِ

Kamaa lam yasjud lil'ahjaari wa lam ya'takif lil'ashjaari

As he did not prostrate to stones nor seclude himself for trees

وَ لَمْ یَسْتَحِلَّ السِّبَاءَ وَ لَمْ یَشْرَبِ الدِّمَاءَ

Wa lam yastahill as-sibaa'a wa lam yashrabid-dimaa'a

And did not consider captivity lawful nor drink blood

اَللّٰہُمَّ خَرَجْنَا اِلَیْکَ حِیْنَ فَاجَاَتْنَا الْمَضَايِقُ الْوَعِرَۃُ

Allaahumma kharajnaa ilayka heena faajaatnaa al-madhaayiqu al-wa'iratu

O Allah, we have come to You when we were beset by severe hardships

وَ اَلْجَاَتْنَا الْمَحَابِسُ الْعَسِرَۃُ وَ عَضَّتْنَا عَلَائِقُ الشَّیْنِ

Wa aljaatnaa al-mahaabisu al-'asiratu wa 'adhdhatna 'alaa'iqu ash-shayni

And we were confined by difficult prisons and afflicted by the bonds of shame

وَ تَاَثَّلَتْ عَلَیْنَا لَوَاحِقُ الْمَیْنِ وَ اعْتَکَرَتْ عَلَیْنَا حَدَابِیْرُ السِّنِیْنَ

Wa ta'aththalat 'alaynaa lawaahiqu al-mayni wa i'takarath 'alaynaa hadaabeeru as-siniina

And the flames of calamity engulfed us, and the years of drought besieged us

وَ اَخْلَفْتَنَا مَخَايِلُ الْجُوْدِ وَ اسْتَظْمَاُنَا لِصَوَارِخِ الْقَوْدِ

Wa akhlafatnaa makhayilu al-joodi wa astazhmaanaa lisawaarikhi al-qawdi

And the clouds of abundance failed us, and we were parched by the scorching heat

فَکُنْتَ رَجَاءَ الْمُبْتَئِسِ وَ الثِّقَۃَ لِلْمُلْتَمِسِ

Fakunta raja'a al-mubtai'si wa ath-thiqatha lil-multamisi

You were the hope of the despairing and the trust of the seeker

نَدْعُوْکَ حِیْنَ قَنَطَ الْاَنَامُ وَ مُنِعَ الْغَمَامُ وَ ہَلَکَ السَّوَامُ

Nad'ooka heena qanata al-anaamu wa muni'a al-ghamaamu wa halaka as-sawaamu

We call upon You when people have despaired, the clouds have been withheld, and the swallows have perished

یَا حَیُّ یَا قَیُّوْمُ عَدَدَ الشَّجَرِ وَ النُّجُوْمِ وَ الْمَلَائِکَۃِ الصُّفُوْفِ وَ الْعِنَانِ الْمَکْفُوْفِ

Yaa hayyu yaa qayyoomu 'adada ash-shajari wa an-nujoomi wa malaa'ikatis-sufuufi wal-'inaani al-makfuufi

O Living One, O Self-Subsisting One, as numerous as the trees, the stars, the rows of angels, and the bent forearms

اَنْ لَا تَرُدَّنَا خَائِبِیْنَ وَ لَا تُؤَاخِذَنَا بِاَعْمَالِنَا وَ لَا تُحَاصَّنَا بِذُنُوْبِنَا

An laa taruddanaa khaa'ibiina wa laa tu'aakhidhnaa bi'a'maalinaa wa laa tuhaasanaa bidhunoobinaa

That You do not return us disappointed, nor hold us accountable for our deeds, nor enclose us with our sins.

اَنْشُرْ عَلَیْنَا رَحْمَتَکَ بِالسَّحَابِ الْمُتَائِقِ وَ النَّبَاتِ الْمُوْنِقِ

Unshur 'alaynaa rahmataka bis-sahaabi al-mutaaiqi wa an-nabaati al-muwniqi

Spread Your mercy upon us with the clouds that bring forth life and the plants that flourish

وَ امْنُنْ عَلٰی عِبَادِکَ بِتَنْوِیْعِ الثَّمَرَۃِ وَ اَحْیِ بِلَادِکَ بِبُلُوْغِ الزَّہَرَۃِ

Wa amnun 'alaa 'ibaadika bitanwee'i ath-thamarati wa ah-yee biladaka bibulooghi az-zaharati

And bestow upon Your servants the abundance of fruit and revive Your lands with the arrival of flowers

وَ اُشْہِدُ مَلَائِکَتَکَ الْکِرَامَ السَّفَرَۃَ سُقْیَا مِنْکَ نَافِعَۃً مُحْیِیَۃً ہَنِیْئَۃً مَرِیْئَۃً مَرْوِیَّۃً تَامَّۃً عَامَّۃً طَیِّبَۃً مُبَارَکَۃً مَرِیْعَۃً دَائِمَۃً

Wa ushhidu malaa'ikataka al-kiraama as-safarata suqyaa min ka naafi'atan muhyiyyatan hani'atan maree'atan marwiyyatan taammatan 'aammatan tayyibatan mubaarakatan maree'atan daa'imatan

And I call upon Your noble angels to witness the provision from You that is beneficial, life-giving, pleasant, abundant, complete, universal, pure, blessed, abundant, and lasting

غُزْرُہَا وَاسِعًا دَرُّہَا زَاکِیًا نَبْتُہَا نَامِیًا زَرْعُہَا نَاضِرًا عُوْدُہَا ثَامِرًا فَرْعُہَا مُمْرِعَۃً

Ghuzruhaa waasi'an darrahaa zaakiyan nabtuhu naamiyan zar'uhu naadhiran 'uwdhuu thaamiran far'uhu mumri'atan

Its irrigation is vast, its yield is pure, its plants are thriving, its crops are flourishing, its trees are fruitful, and its branches are laden

آثَارُہَا غَیْرَ خُلَّبٍ بَرْقُہَا وَ لَا جَہَامٍ عَارِضُہَا وَ لَا قَزَعِ رَبَابُہَا وَ لَا شَفَّانٍ ذِہَابُہَا

Aathaaruhaa ghayra khullabin barquhaa wa laa jahaamin 'aariidhuhaa wa laa qaza'i rabaabuhaa wa laa shaffaani dhihaabuhaa

Its effects are not fleeting, its lightning is not destructive, its storms are not overwhelming, its thunder is not terrifying, and its departure is not devastating

جَارِیَۃً بِالْخِصْبِ وَ الْخَیْرِ عَلٰی اَہْلِہَا

Jaariyatan bil-khisbi wal-khayri 'alaa ahlihaa

Flowing with fertility and goodness upon its people.

تُنْعِشُ بِہَا الضَّعِیْفَ مِنْ عِبَادِکَ وَ تُحْیِیْ بِہَا الْمَیِّتَ مِنْ بِلَادِکَ

Tuna'ishu bihaa adh-dha'ifa min 'ibaadika wa tuhyee bihaa al-mayyita min biladika

You revitalize with it the weak among Your servants and bring to life the barren lands

وَ تَضُمُّ بِہَا الْمَبْسُوْطَ مِنْ رِزْقِکَ وَ تُخْرِجُ بِہَا الْمَخْزُوْنَ مِنْ رَحْمَتِکَ

Wa tadhummu bihaa al-mabsuuta min rizqika wa tukhriju bihaa al-makhzoon min rahmatika

And You gather with it the scattered provisions and bring forth the stored mercy

وَ تَعُمُّ بِہَا مَنْ نَاَیْ مِنْ خَلْقِکَ حَتّٰی یُخْصِبَ لِاِمْرَاعِہَا الْمُجْدِبُوْنَ

Wa ta'ummu bihaa man naa min khalqika hattaa yukhsiba li-imraa'ihaa al-mujdiboon

And You encompass with it those who are in need from Your creation, so that the parched lands become fertile for its nourishment

وَ یَحْیٰ بِبَرَکَتِہَا الْمُسْنِتُوْنَ وَ تُتْرِعَ بِالْقِیْعَانِ غُدْرَانَہَا

Wa yahya bibarakatihaa al-musnitoon wa tutra'a bil-qi'aani ghudraanaa

And the barren lands come to life with its blessings, and the valleys are watered by its streams

وَ تُوْرِقَ ذُرَی الْاٰکَامِ رَجَوَاتِہَا وَ یَدْہَامَّ بِذُرَی الْاَكْمَامِ شَجَرُہَا

Wa tuwriqa dhuray al-aakaami rajawaatihaa wa yadhamaa bi-dhuray al-akmaami shajaruhaa

And the roots of the palm trees are nourished by its floods, and the trees of the palm groves are luxuriant with its abundance

وَ تُعْشِبَ بِہَا اَنْجَادُنَا وَ تُجْرِیَ بِہَا وِہَادَنَا وَ تُخْصِبَ بِہَا جَنَابَنَا

Wa tu'ishibu bihaa anjaaduna wa tujree bihaa wihadaana wa tukhsiba bihaa janaabana

And our meadows are verdant with it, our rivers flow with it, and our sides are fertile with it

وَ تُقْبِلَ بِہَا ثِمَارَنَا وَ تُعِیْشَ بِہَا مَوَاشِیْنَا وَ تَنْدِیَ بِہَا اَقَاصِیْنَا

Wa tuqbal bihaa thimaaranaa wa tu'eesh bihaa mawaasheena wa tandee bihaa aqaasiinaa

And our fruits ripen with it, our livestock thrive with it, and our farthest lands are reached by it

وَ نَسْتَعِیْنَ بِہَا ضَوَاحِیْنَا مِنَّۃً مِنْ مِنَنِکَ مُجَلِّلَۃً وَ نِعْمَۃً مِنْ نِعَمِكَ مُفَضَّلَۃً

Wa nasta'een bihaa dawaahina minnat min minanika mujallilatan wa ni'matan min ni'amika mufadhdhalatan

And we seek help from it for our surroundings, as a favor from Your favors, a blessing from Your blessings, preferred

عَلٰی بَرِیَّتِکَ الْمُرْمِلَۃِ وَ وَحْشِکَ الْمُہْمَلَۃِ وَ بَہَائِمِکَ الْمُعْمِلَۃِ

'Alaa bareeyatik al-murmalati wa waahshika al-muhmalati wa bahaaimika al-mu'milati

Over Your creatures that are neglected, Your wild animals that are abandoned, and Your beasts that are working.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اَنْزِلْ عَلَیْنَا سَمَاءً مُخْضِلَةً مِدْرَارًا

Allaahumma anzil 'alaynaa samaa'an mukhdhilatan midraaran

O Allah, send down upon us a sky that pours forth abundantly

وَ اسْقِنَا الْغَیْثَ وَاکِفًا مِغْزَارًا غَیْثًا مُغِیْثًا مُمْرِعًا مُجَلْجًِا

Wa asqinaa al-ghaytha waakifan mighzaaran ghaythan mugheethan mumri'an mujaljajan

And give us rain that is sufficient and abundant, a rain that is beneficial, fertile, and flowing

وَاسِعًا وَابِلًا نَافِعًا سَرِیْعًا عَاجِلًا سَحًّا وَابِلًا

Waasi'an waabilan naafi'an saree'an 'aajilan sahhan waabilan

Widespread, beneficial, swift, and immediate, a pouring rain

تُحْیِیْ بِہٖ مَا قَدْ مَاتَ وَ تَرُدُّ بِہٖ مَا قَدْ فَاتَ

Tuhyee bihi maa qad maata wa taruddu bihi maa qad faata

That revives what has died and returns what has passed

وَ تُخْرِجُ بِہٖ مَا ہُوَ آتٍ

Wa tukhriju bihi maa huwa aatin

And brings forth what is to come.

اللّٰهُمَّ اسْقِنَا رَحْمَةً مِنْكَ وَاسِعَةً

Allahumma asqina rahmatan minka wasi'atan

O Allah, grant us wide-reaching mercy from You.

وَبَرَكَةً مِنَ الْهَاطِلِ نَافِعَةً

Wa barakatan minal hatili nafi'atan

And a blessing from the beneficial rain.

يُدَافِعُ الْوَدْقُ مِنْهَا الْوَدْقَ

Yudafi'u al-wadqu minha al-wadqa

Where the rain repels more rain.

وَيَتْلُو الْقَطْرُ مِنْهَا الْقَطْرَ

Wa yatlu al-qatru minha al-qatra

And each drop follows another drop.

مُنْبَجِسَةً بُرُؤْقُهُ مُتَتَابِعَةً

Munbajisatan buroquhu mutatabi'atan

Bursting forth, its lightning follows continuously.

خُفُوقُهُ مُرْتَجِسَةً

Khufuquhu murtajisatan

Its flashes come with a trembling sound.

هُمُوعُهُ سَيْبُهُ مُسْتَدِرٌّ

Humoo'uhu saybuhu mustadirrun

Its tears (rain) are abundant and pouring.

وَصَوْبُهُ مُسْبَطِرٌ

Wasawbuhu musbatirrun

And its downpour spreads widely.

وَلَا تَجْعَلْ ظِلُّهُ عَلَيْنَا سُمُومًا

Wala taj'al zillahu 'alayna sumooman

And do not make its shade upon us a scorching wind.

وَبَرْدَهُ عَلَيْنَا حُسُومًا

Wa bardahu 'alayna husooman

And do not make its coldness upon us a harsh frost.

وَضَوْءَهُ عَلَيْنَا رُجُومًا

Wa daw'ahu 'alayna rujuman

And do not make its light upon us a sign of punishment.

وَمَاءَهُ رِمَادًا رِمْدَادًا

Wa ma’ahu rimadan rimdadan

And do not make its water into ashes, completely dry.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ وَهَوَادِيهِ

Allahumma inna na'udhu bika minash-shirki wa hawadiyhi

O Allah, we seek refuge in You from shirk (associating partners with You) and its pitfalls.

وَالظُّلْمِ وَدَوَاهِيهِ

Wa az-zulmi wa dawahiyhi

And from oppression and its disasters.

وَالْفَقْرِ وَدَوَاعِيهِ

Wal-faqri wa dawa'iyhi

And from poverty and its causes.

يَا مُعْطِيَ الْخَيْرَاتِ مِنْ أَمَاكِنِهَا

Ya mu'tiyal khayrati min amakinaha

O Giver of blessings from their rightful places.

وَمُرْسِلَ الْبَرَكَاتِ مِنْ مَعَادِنِهَا

Wa mursilal barakati min ma'adiniha

And Sender of blessings from their sources.

مِنْكَ الْغَيْثُ الْمُغِيثُ

Minka al-ghaythu al-mugheeth

From You comes the rescuing rain.

وَأَنْتَ الْغِيَاثُ الْمُسْتَغَاثُ

Wa anta al-ghiyathu al-mustaghath

And You are the Helper, the One called upon for relief.

وَنَحْنُ الْخَاطِئُونَ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الذُّنُوبِ

Wa nahnu al-khati'oon wa min ahli ad-dhunoob

And we are the sinners, among the people of sins.

وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرُ الْغَفَّارُ

Wa anta al-mustaghfir al-ghaffar

And You are the One who forgives, the Oft-Forgiving.

نَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِلْجَاهِلَاتِ مِنْ ذُنُوبِنَا

Nastaghfiruka lil-jahilati min dhunoobina

We seek Your forgiveness for the ignorant parts of our sins.

وَنَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ عَوَامِّ خَطَايَانَا

Wa natubu ilayka min 'awami khatayana

And we repent to You from the common errors of our ways.

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Ya arhamar rahimeen

O Most Merciful of the merciful!

اَللّٰهُمَّ قَدِ انْصَاحَتْ جِبَالُنَا وَ اغْبَرَّتْ اَرْضُنَا

Allahumma qad insahat jibaluna wa aghbarrat arduna

O Allah, our mountains have cracked, and our land has turned dusty.

وَهَامَتْ دَوَابُّنَا وَ تَحَيَّرَتْ فِي مَرَابِضِهَا

Wa hamat dawabbuna wa tahayyarat fi marabidihā

And our animals have become desperate, confused in their resting places.

وَعَجَّتْ عَجِيجَ الثَّكَالَى عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا

Wa 'ajjat 'ajeeja ath-thakāla 'ala awladihā

And they cry out like a bereaved mother over her children.

وَمَلَّتِ الدَّوَرَانَ فِي مَرَاتِعِهَا

Wa mallati ad-dawran fi marati'iha

They are tired of wandering in their pastures.

وَالْحَنِينَ إِلَى مَوَارِدِهَا

Wal-haneena ila mawaridiha

And they long for their watering places.

حِينَ حَبَسْتَ عَنْهَا قَطْرَ السَّمَاءِ

Heena habasta 'anha qatra as-samā'

Since You have withheld from them the rain of the sky.

فَدَّقَ لِذَلِكَ عَظْمُهَا وَ ذَهَبَ شَحْمُهَا

Faddaqa lithalika 'azmuha wa dhahaba shahmuha

Their bones have become brittle, and their fat has disappeared.

وَانْقَطَعَ دَرُّهَا

Wainqata'a darruha

And their milk has ceased to flow.

اَللّٰهُمَّ فَارْحَمْ أَنِينَ الْآنَّةِ وَ جَنِينَ الْحَانَّةِ

Allahumma farham aneen alaanati wa janeen alhanati

O Allah, have mercy on the groaning of the distressed and the cries of the yearning.

فَإِلَيْكَ ارْتِجَاؤُنَا وَ إِلَيْكَ مَآبُنَا

Fa ilayka irtijاؤuna wa ilayka maابuna

To You is our hope, and to You is our return.

فَلَا تَحْبِسْهُ عَنَّا لِتَبَطُّنِكَ سَرَائِرَنَا

Fala tahbisu 'anna litabatunika sara'irana

Do not withhold it from us because of Your knowledge of our inner selves.

وَلَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ السُّفَهَاءُ مِنَّا

Wala tu’akhidhna bima fa’ala assufahاءu minna

And do not punish us for what the foolish among us have done.

فَإِنَّكَ تُنْزِلُ الْغَيْثَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُوا

Fa innaka tunzilu alghaytha min ba'di ma qanatu

For indeed, You send down rain after they have despaired.

وَتَنْشُرُ رَحْمَتَكَ وَ أَنْتَ الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ

Wa tanshuru rahmataka wa anta alwaliyyu alhameed

And You spread Your mercy, and You are the Protector, the Praiseworthy.
