بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیْ مَنَّ عَلَیَّ بِاِسْتِحْکَامِ الْمَعْرِفَۃِ وَالْاِخْلاَصِ بِالتَّوْحِیْدِ

Al-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī manna ‘alayya bi-istihkāmi al-ma‘rifah wa al-ikhlāṣ bi-at-tawḥīd.

Praise is for Allah Who granted His recognition and made me firm in sincerity by the belief in His Oneness.

 لَہٗ وَلَمْ یَجْعَلْنِیْ مِنْ اَہْلِ الْغَوَایَۃِ وَالْغَبَاوَۃِ وَ الشِّرْکِ وَلاَ مَنِ اسْتَحْوَذَ الشَّیْطَانُ عَلَیْہِ فَاَغْوَاہُ فَاَضَلَّہٗ وَاتَّخَذَ اِلٰہَہُ ہَوٰہُ

Lahu wa lam yaj‘alnī min ahli al-ghawāyah wa al-ghabāwah wa ash-shirk, wa lā man istahwadhahu ash-shayṭān fa aghwāhu fa aḍallahu wa-ttakhadha ilāhahū hawāh

Do not include me among the strayed ones, nor ignorant ones, nor the polytheists, nor among those whom the Satan has overpowered and deviated and has made him far away from his destination, and the one who made his desires, his lord.

 وَ سُبْحَانَ اﷲِ الَّذِیْ یُجِیْبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ وَ یَکْشِفُ الضُرَّ وَ یَعْلَمُ السِّرَّّ وَ یَمْلِکُ الْخَیْرَ وَالشَّرَّ وَلَآ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّاﷲُ

Wa Subḥāna Allāhi alladhī yujību al-muḍṭarra wa yakshifu aḍ-ḍurra, wa ya‘lamu as-sirra, wa yamliku al-khayra wa ash-sharra, wa lā ilāha illā Allāh

And pure is Allah who hears the cries of the restless and whom the harm has afflicted and He knows the secrets, the lord of the good and evil and there is no Lord except Allah

الَّذِیْ یَحْلُمُ عَنْ عَبْدِہٖ اِذَا عَصَاہُ وَ یَتَلَقَّاہُ بِالْاِسْعَافِ وَالتَّلْبِیَۃِ اِذَا دَعَاہُ وَاﷲُ اَکْبَرُ الْبَسِیْطُ مُلُکُہٗ الْمَعْدُوْمُ شِرْکُہُ الْمَجِیْدُ عَرْشُہُ الشَّدِیْدُ بَطْشُہٗ

Alladhī yaḥlumu ‘an ‘abdihī idhā ‘aṣāh, wa yatalqāhu bil-is‘āfi wa at-talbiyyah idhā da‘āh, wa Allāhu Akbar, al-Basīṭu mulkuhu, al-ma‘dūmu shirkuhu, al-Majīdu ‘arshuhu, ash-Shadīdu baṭshuhu.

that when His creature sins, He overlooks it, and sympathetically hastens towards the one who calls Him and Allah is Great and Exalted. His kingdom is vast, His present is not seen (visible), His throne is worth praise, and His Wrath severe.

 اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ سُؤَالَ مَنْ لَمْ یَجِدْ لِسُؤَالِہٖ مَسْئُوْلاً سِوَاکَ وَ اَعْتَمِدُ عَلَیْکَ اِعْتِمَادَ مِنْ لاَ یَجِدِ لِاِعْتِمَادِہٖ مُعْتَمِدًا غَیْرَکَ لِاَنَّکَ الْاَوَّلُ الَّذِیْ ابْتَدَأْتِ الْاِبْتِدَآءَ فَکَوَّنْتَہٗ بِاَیْدِیْ تَلَطُّفِکَ فَاسْتَکَانَ عَلٰی مَشِیَّتِکَ مُنْشَئًا کَمَا اَرَدْتَ بِاِحْکَامِ التَّقْدِیْر

Allāhumma innī as’aluka su’āla man lam yajid li-su’ālihi mas’ūlan siwāk, wa a‘tamidu ‘alayka i‘timāda man lā yajid li-i‘timādihi mu‘tamidan ghayrak, li-annaka al-Awwalu alladhī ibtada’ta al-ibtidā’a fa-kawwanta-hū bi-aydi ta-laṭṭufik, fa-istakāna ‘alā mashīyatika munsha’an kamā aradta bi-iḥkāmi at-taqdīr.

O My Lord! I invoke You as the one, who has not found anyone better than You, to grant his desires and have confidence in You as the one who has not found anyone better than Youto confide in, because You are the One who has initiated the beginning, and have brought it in existence and it came into being by Your command in the destined limit.<

وَ اَنْتَ اَعَزَّ وَ اَجَلُّ اَنْ تُحِیْطَ الْعُقُولُ بِمَبْلَغِ وَصْفِکَ

Wa anta a‘azza wa ajallu an tuḥīṭa al-‘uqūlu bimbalagh-i waṣfik

And You are far Great and Majestic that by looking at Your signs, the intellect can comprehend You.

 اَنْتَ الْعَالِمُ الَّذِیْ لاَ یَعْزُبَ عَنْکَ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّۃٍ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَالسَّمَآءِ وَالْجَوَادُ الَّذِیْ لاَ یُبْخِلُکَ اِلْحَاحُ الْمُلِحِّیْنَ فَاِنَّمَا اَمْرُکَ لِلشَّیْئِ اِذَا اَرَدْتَہُ اَنْ تَقُوْلَ لَہٗ کُنْ فَیَکُوْنَ

Anta al-‘Ālimu alladhī lā ya‘zubu ‘anka mithqālu dharratin fī al-arḍi wa as-samā’, wa al-Jawādu alladhī lā yubkhiluka ilḥāḥu al-muliḥḥīn, fa-innamā amruka li-shay’in idhā aradtahu an taqūla lahu kun fa-yakūn.

And You are so much aware that nothing from the Heavens and the earth is hidden from You, only You are Generous who does not stop the bestowals due to continuous plea of the seekers. Your order for the creatures is that You wish and it materializes.

اَمْرُکَ مَاضٍ وَوَعْدُکَ حَتْمٌ وَ حُکْمُکَ عَدْلٌ لاَ یَعْزُبُ عَنْکَ شَیْئٌ وَ اِلَیْکَ مَرَدُّ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ اِحْتَجَبْتَ بِاٰلَآئِکَ

Amruka māḍin wa wa‘duka ḥatmun wa ḥukmuka ‘adlun, lā ya‘zubu ‘anka shay’un, wa ilayka maraddu kulli shay’in, iḥtajabta bi-ālā’ika.

Your order is enforced, Your promise is certain, Your decision is Just, nothing is hidden from You, everything will return to You. You are concealed in the veils of Your bounties,  

فَلاَ تُرٰی وَ شَہِدْتَ کُلَّ نَجْوٰی وَ تَعَالَیْتَ عَلَی الْعُلٰی وَ تَفَرَّدْتَ بِالْکِبْرِیَآءِ وَ تَعَزَّزْتَ بِالْقُدْرَۃِ وَالْبَقَآءِ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ فِی الْاٰخِرَۃِ وَالْاُوْلٰی وَلَکَ الشُّکْرُ فِی الْبَدْوِ وَ الْعُقْبٰی

Fa-lā turā, wa shahidta kulla najwā, wa ta‘ālaita ‘ala al-‘ulā, wa tafarradta bil-kibriyā’i, wa ta‘azzazta bil-qudrati wa al-baqā’i, fa-laka al-ḥamdu fī al-ākhirati wa al-ūlā, wa laka ash-shukru fī al-badwi wa al-‘uqbā.

that You are not seen, but is present in solitude, You are the greatest of all, Unique in Magnificence and overpowering due to life and power. Your praise, in this World as wellas in the Hereafter. And Your thanks in the beginning and the end.

اَنْتَ اِلٰہِیْ حَلِیْمٌ قَادِرٌ رَئُوْفٌ غَافِرٌ وَ مَلِکٌ قَاہِرٌ وَ رَازِقٌ بَدِیْعٌ مُجِیْبٌ سَمِیْعٌ بِیَدِکَ نَوَاصِیَ الْعِبَادِ وَ قَوَاصِیَ الْبِلاَدِ

Anta Ilāhī Ḥalīmun Qādirun Ra’ūfun Ghāfirun, wa Malikun Qāhirun wa Rāziqun Badī‘un Mujībun Samī‘un, bi-yadika nawāṣiya al-‘ibād wa qawāṣiya al-bilād.

O my Lord! You are forbearing and Powerful, Merciful and forgiving, a true master, the subduer, the sustainer, a matchless creator, the acceptor of supplications and the one who hears it, the destiny of the far off scattered people is in Your power and strength.

 حَیٌّ قَیُّوْمٌ جَوَادٌ مَاجِدٌ کَرِیْمٌ رَحِیْمٌ اَنْتَ اِلٰہِیْ الْمَالِکُ الَّذِیْ مَلَکْتَ الْمُلُوْکَ فَتَوَاضَعَ لِہَیْبَتِکَ الْاَعِزَّآءُ وَدَانَ لَکَ بِالطَّاعَۃِ الْاَوْلِیَآءُ فَاحْتَوَیْتَ بِاِلٰہِیَّتِکَ عَلَی الْمَجْدِ وَالثَّنَآءِ

Ḥayyun Qayyūmun Jawādun Mājidun Karīmun Raḥīmun, anta Ilāhī al-Mālika alladhī malakta al-mulūk, fa-tawāḍa‘a li-haybatika al-a‘izzā’u, wa dāna laka bi-ṭ-ṭā‘ati al-awliyā’u, fa-iḥtawayta bi-ilāhiyyatika ‘ala al-majdi wa ath-thanā’.

The Ever living, the Self Existing, the Munificent, the Glorious, the kind, the Merciful, O my Lord You are such a creator that You are king of all the kings. The head is bowed down in front of the Great fear. Our Holy people are punctual in Your obedience, and due to Your Holiness, You are possessor of greatness and Praise.

 وَلاَ یَؤُوْدُکَ حِفْظُ خَلْقِکَ وَلاَ تُہْلِکُ عَطَایَاکَ بِمَنْ مَنَحْتَہٗ سَعَۃَ رِزْقِکَ وَ اَنْتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُیُوْبِ سَتَرْتَ عَلَیَّ عُیُوْبِیْ وَ اَحْصِیْتَ عَلَیَّ ذُنُوْبِیْ وَ اَکْرَمَتَنِیْ بِمَعْرِفَۃِ دِیْنِکَ

Wa lā ya’ūduka ḥifẓu khalqika, wa lā tuhliku ‘aṭāyāka biman manaḥtahu sa‘ata rizqika, wa anta ‘Allāmu al-ghuyūb, satarta ‘alayya ‘uyūbī, wa aḥṣayta ‘alayya dhunūbī, wa akramtanī bi-ma‘rifati dīnik.

The custody of Your Creatures is not expensive for You and the bestowal of the bounties on Your creatures does not decrease it. You are knower of the Unseen, You have covered my defects and You are aware of the amount of my sins & You have blessed me with the love of Your religion.

 وَلَمْ تَہْتِکُ عَنِّیْ سِتْرَکَ یَاحَنَّانُ وَلَمْ تَفْضَحْنِیْ یَا مَنَّانُ

Wa lam tahtik ‘annī sitraka yā Ḥannān, wa lam tafḍaḥnī yā Mannān.

 O the merciful do not remove the cover from me (my sins) and O the bestower of favours, do not degrade me.

 اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اَنْ تُوَسِّعَ عَلَیَّ مِنْ فَضْلِکَ الْوَاسِعِ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلٰلاً طَیِّبًا وَ اَنْ تَغْفِرَ ذُنُوْبًا حَالَتْ بَیْنِیْ وَ بَیْنَکَ بِاِقْتِرَافِیْ لَہَا فَاَنْتَ اَہْلٌ اَنْ تَجُوْدَ عَلَیَّ بِسَعَۃِ رَحْمَتِکَ وَ تُنْقِذَنِیْ مِنْ اَلِیْمِ عَقُوْبَتِکَ وَ تُدْرِجَنِیْ دَرَجَ الْمُکْرَمِیْنَ

As’aluka an tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammad, wa an tuwassi‘a ‘alayya min faḍlika al-wāsi‘i rizqan wāsi‘an ḥalālan ṭayyiban, wa an taghfira dhunūban ḥālat baynī wa baynaka bi-iqtirāfī lahā, fa-anta ahlun an tajūda ‘alayya bi-sa‘ati raḥmatika, wa tunqidhanī min alīmi ‘uqūbatika, wa tudrijanī daraja al-mukramīn.

I pray to You to bestow blessings upon Mohammad and his progeny and by Your Grace increase my sustenance the pure and Holy, Forgive my sins which prove as a barrier between You and me, as You are only capable to be Merciful towards me by Your Mercy and save me from Your severe chastisement, and place me among Your Honorable creatures.

وَ تُلْحِقْنِیْ مَوْلاَیَ بِالصَّالِحِیْنَ الَّذِیْنَ تَتَوَفّٰہُمُ الْمَلَآئِکَۃُ طَیِّبِیْنَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ سَلاَمٌ عَلَیْکُمْ اُدْخُلُوْا الْجَنَّۃَ بِمَا کُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ بِصَفْحِکَ وَ تَغَمُّدِکَ

Wa tulḥiqnī Mawlāya bi-ṣ-ṣāliḥīn alladhīna tatawaffāhumu al-malā’ikatu ṭayyibīn yaqūlūna salāmun ‘alaykum, udkhulū al-jannata bimā kuntum ta‘malūn, bi-ṣafḥika wa taghammudika.

O my Lord put me among those pious souls whom the angles carry in the state of purity, and say "Peace be on You" go and enter Heaven in exchange of Your good deeds.

 یَا رَئُوْفُ یَا رَحِیْمُ وَ اَسْئَلُکَ الصَّلٰوۃَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Yā Ra’ūfu Yā Raḥīmu, wa as’aluka aṣ-ṣalāta ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammad.

O the clement O the Rich for the sake of Your Beneficence and Mercy I beseech You to send blessings on Mohammad and his progeny

 وَ اَنْ تَحْتَمِلَ عَنِّیْ وَاجِبَ الْاٰبَآءِ وَالْاُمَّہَاتِ وَ اَدِّ حُقُوْقَہُمْ عَنِّیْ وَ اَلْحِقْنِیْ مَعَہُمْ بِالْاَبْرَارِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَ الْاَخْوَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ وَلَہُمْ جَمِیْعًا

Wa an taḥtamil ‘annī wājiba al-ābā’i wal-ummahāt, wa addi ḥuqūqahum ‘annī, wa alḥiqnī ma‘ahum bil-abrār, wal-ikhwān wal-akhawāt, wal-mu’minīn wal-mu’mināt, wa aghfir lī wa lahum jamī‘an.

and make me handle the rights of my mother and father and fulfill their obligations on my behalf and divide me with them and my brothers and sisters and put me and the believing male and females among the doers of good. Forgive me and all those with me,   

اِنَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌ وَ صَلَّی اﷲُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِیِّ وَ اٰلِہٖ اَجْمَعِیْنَ

Innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd, wa ṣallā Allāhu ‘alā Muḥammadin an-Nabiyyi wa ālihi ajma‘īn.

indeed,You are worth the praise and deserve the greatness. Bestow Your Mercy on our prophet and on the people of the House.
