بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیْ ہُدَانِیْ لِلْاِسْلاَمِ وَ اَکْرَمَنِیْ بِالْاِیْمَانِ وَ بَصَّرَنِیْ بِالدِّیْنِ وَ شَرَّفَنِیْ بِالْیَقِیْنِ وَ عَرَّفَنِیْ الْحَقَّ الَّذِیْ عَنْہُ یُؤْفَکُوْنَ وَالنَّبَائِ الْعَظِیْمَ الَّذِیْ ہُمْ فِیْہِ مُخْتَلِفُوْنَ

Al-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī hadānī lil-Islām, wa akramanī bil-īmān, wa baṣṣaranī bid-dīn, wa sharrafanī bil-yaqīn, wa ‘arrafanī al-ḥaqqa alladhī ‘anhu yu’fakūn, wa an-nabā’a al-‘aẓīm alladhī hum fīhi mukhtalifūn.

Praise is for Allah Who guided me towards Islam, enlightened me in religion and granted me insight about those things in which people look for allegations and accusation.

سُبْحَانَ اﷲِ الَّذِیْ یَرْزُقُ الْقَاسِطَ الْعَادِلَ وَالْعَاقِلَ وَالْجَاہِلَ وَ یَرْحَمُ السَّاہِیَ وَالْغَافِلَ فَکَیْفَ الدَّاعِیَ السَّآئِلَ

Subḥāna Allāhi alladhī yarzuqu al-qāsita al-‘ādil, wa al-‘āqil wa al-jāhil, wa yarḥamu as-sāhīya wa al-ghāfil, fa kaifa ad-dā‘iya as-sā’il

Pure is Allah Who sustains the great and the unjust, the intelligent and the fools, when He is Merciful towards the negligent and careless, why will He not be Merciful on those who invoke and beseech Him.

وَ لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اﷲُ اللَّطِیْفُ بِمَنْ شَرَدَ عَنْہُ مِنْ مُسْرِفِیْ عِبَادِہٖ لِیَرْجِعَ عَنْ عَتُوِّہٖ وَ عِنَادِنہٖ الرَّاضِیْ مِنَ الْمُنِیْبِ الْمُخْلِصِ بِدُوْنِ الْوُسْعِ وَالطَّاقَۃِ

Wa lā ilāha illallāhu al-Laṭīfu biman sharada ‘anhu min musrifī ‘ibādihī, li-yarji‘a ‘an ‘utuwwihī wa ‘inādinahū, ar-rāḍī mina al-munībi al-mukhliṣi bidūni al-wus‘i wa aṭ-ṭāqah.

There is no Lord except Allah and He bestows His grace and Mercy on those who run away from His obedience so that they may refrain from their tyranny and oppression and are prepared to do good deeds with sincere people.

اوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ نَوْعٍ مِنْ غَوَامِضِ تَقْدِیْرِہ وَ حُسْنِ تَدْبِیْرِہٖ دَلِیْلٌ وَاضِحٌ وَ شَاہِدُ عَدْلٍ یَقْضِیَانِ لَہٗ بِالْوَحْدَانِیَّۃِ

Wa ‘alā kulli naw‘in min ghawāmiḍi taqdīrihī wa ḥusni tadbīrihī dalīlun wāḍiḥun wa shāhidu ‘adlin yaqḍiyāni lahū bil-waḥdāniyyah.

And Allah is Great. He is tolerant and knowledgeable who has such amazing and marvelous proofs in the universe which proves His Godhood, without a doubt.His recognition of destinies and the excellent policies are adequate evidences and the just witnesses are sufficient proof of His Oneness.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ یَا مَنْ یَصْرِفُ الْبَلاَیَا وَ یَعْلَمُ الْخَفَایَا وَ یُجْزِلُ الْعَطَایَا سُؤَالَ نَادِمٍ عَلٰی اِقْتِرَافِ الْاٰثَامِ وَ سَالِمٍ عَلَی الْمَعَاصِیْ مِنَ اللَّیَالِیْ

Allāhumma innī as’aluka yā man yaṣrifu al-balāyā wa ya‘lamu al-khafāyā wa yujzilu al-‘aṭāyā, su’āla nādimin ‘alā iqtirāfi al-āthām, wa sālimin ‘ala al-ma‘āṣī mina al-layālī.

O my Creator! O He who wards off the misfortune, aware of the secrets, gives abundance in bestowal of rewards, I ask You, as the one who is ashamed of his sins and is persistently absorbed in disobedience.

وَالْاَیَّامِ اِذْلَمْ یَجِدْ مُجِیْرًا سِوَاکَ لِغُفْرَانِہَا وَلاَ مَوْئِلاً یَفْزَعُ اِلَیْہِ لِاِرْتِجَآءِ کَشْفِ فَاقَتِہٖ اِلاَّاِیَّاکَ

Wa al-ayām, idh lam yajid mujīran siwāka li-ghufrānihā, wa lā ma’wilan yafza‘u ilayhi li-irtijā’i kashfi fāqatihī illā iyyāka

I don't find anyone other than You who can grant me refuge in it.And there is none other than You, with whom I can get my helplessness dispelled and can put forth my grievances.

یَا جَلِیْلُ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ عَمَّ الْخَلآئِقَ مَنُّکَ وَ غَمَرَتْہُمْ سَعَۃُ رَحْمَتُکَ وَ سَوَّغَتْہُمْ سََوَابِغُ نِعْمَتِکَ

Yā Jalīlu anta alladhī ‘amma al-khalā’iq man-nuka, wa ghamarat-hum sa‘atu raḥmatika, wa sawwaghat-hum sawābighu ni‘matika.

O the Lord of Majestic Your obligations have spread over the entire creation and our vast bounties have covered them up, and Your complete bestowals are a source of happiness

ا کَرِیْمُ الْمَاٰبِ وَالْجَوَادُ الْوَہَّابِ وَالْمُنْتَقِمُ مِمَّنْ عَصَاہُ بِاَلِیْمِ الْعَذَابِ

A Karīmu al-ma’āb, wal-jawādu al-Wahhāb, wal-muntaqimu mimman ‘aṣāhu bi-alīmi al-‘adhāb.

O the Honorable and the Generous and the abundant forgiver, and the one to deal strictly with the disobedient.

دَعَوْتُکَ مُقِرًّا بِالْاِسَائَۃِ عَلٰی نَفْسِیْ اِذْلَمْ اَجِدُ مَلْجَأ اَلْجَاَہُ اِلَیْہِ فِیْ اِغْتِفَادِ مَا اکْتَسَبْتَ مِنَ الْاٰثَامِ

Da‘autuka muqirran bil-isā’ati ‘alā nafsī, idh lam ajid malja’an aljā’u ilayhi fī ightifādi mā iktasabta mina al-āthām.

I confess the errors of my soul and I plead to You because I don't find a better place to seek pardon for my evil deeds, other than You.

یَا خَیْرَ مَنِ اسْتُدْعٰی لِبَذْلِ الرَّغَآئِبِ وَ اَنْجَحَ مَامُوْلٍ لِکَشْفِ الْکَوَارِبِ لَکَ عَنَتِ الْوُجُوْہُ فَلاَ تَرُدَّنِیْ مِنْکَ بِالْحِرْمَانِ

Yā Khayra man istud‘ā li-badhli ar-raghā’ib, wa anjaḥa mā’mūlin li-kashfi al-kawārib, laka ‘anat al-wujūh, fa-lā taruddannī minka bil-ḥirmān.

O the bestower of the favorite bounties, and the warder of calamities and the foremost in making the wishes come true. The foreheads are bowed before You, don't send them dejected.

اِنَّکَ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَشَآءُ وَ تَحْکُمُ مَا تُرِیْدُ ا

Innaka taf‘alu mā tashā’u wa taḥkumu mā turīd.

Indeed You do what pleases You and command what You like.

اَِلٰہِیْ وَ سَیِّدِیْ وَ مَوْلاَیَ اَیَّ رَبٍّ اِرْتَجِیْہِ اَمْ اَیَّ اِلٰہٍ اَقْصُدُہٗ اِذَا اَلَمَّ بِیَ النَّدَمُ وَ اَحَاطَتْ بِیَ الْمَعَاصِیْ وَ نَکَائِبُ خَوْفِ النِّقَمِ وَ اَنْتَ وَلِیَّ الصَّفْحِ وَ میَاوَی الْکَرَمِ

Ilāhī wa Sayyidī wa Mawlāya, ayyā Rabbin irtajīh, am ayyā ilāhin aqṣuduhū, idh alamma bī an-nadam, wa aḥāṭat bī al-ma‘āṣī wa nakā’ibu khawfi an-niqam, wa anta walīya aṣ-ṣafḥi wa ma’wā al-karam.

O My Lord! O my Master! When sorrow and shame is open and the feeling of fear and chastisement has fallen down, then who is the lord from whom I can have hopes, who is He to whom I can have hopes, who is He to whom I can turn and You are the Lord of forgiveness and the peak of Mercy.

اِلٰہِیْ اَتُقِیْمُنِیْ مَقَامَ الْہَلَکَۃِ وَ اَنْتَ جَمِیْلُ السِّتْرِ وَ تَسَأَلُنِیْ عَنْ اِقْتِرَافِیْ عَلٰی رُئُوْسِ الْاَشْہَادِ وَ قَدْ مَخَبَّاتِ السِّتْرِ

Ilāhī a tuqīmunī maqāma al-halākah, wa anta Jamīlu as-sitr, wa tas’alunī ‘an iqtirāfī ‘alā ru’ūsi al-ashhād, wa qad makhabbātu as-sitr.

O My Lord! Will you put me among those who will be destroyed, whereas You are the best concealer (of sins), will You question me for my sins in everybody's presence, whereas You are aware of the secrets of the hearts.

فَاِنْ کُنْتُی اِلٰہِیْ مُسْرِفًا عَلٰی نَفْسِیْ مُخْطِئًا عَلَیْہَا بِاِنْتِہَاکَ الْحُرُمَاتِ نَاسِیًا لِمَا اجْتَرَمْتُ مِنَ الْہَفَوَاتِ فَاَنْتَ لَطِیْفٌ تَجُوْدُ عَلَی الْمُسْرِفِیْنَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ وَ تَتَفَضَّلْ عَلَی الْخَاطِئِیْنَ بِکَرَمِکَ فَارْحَمْنِیْ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ فَاِنَّکَ تُسَکِّنَ

Fa in kuntu yā Ilāhī musrifan ‘alā nafsī, mukhṭi’an ‘alayhā bi-intihāki al-ḥurumāt, nāsiyan limā ijtaramtu mina al-ḥafawāt, fa anta Laṭīfun tujūdu ‘alā al-musrifīn bi-raḥmatika, wa tatafaḍḍalu ‘alā al-khāṭi’īn bi-karamika, fa-rḥamnī yā Arḥama ar-Rāḥimīn, fa innaka tusakkin.

O Allah although I have been unjust on my soul, and have overlooked Your commands, and have indulged myself in sins, and have forgotten everything, but still You are the Owner of favours who is extremely kind towards the sinners and is benevolent upon the evil doers by Your Grace.Thus O the great Merciful be kind to me,

یَا اِلٰہِیْ بِتَحَبُّنِکَ رَوْعَاتِ قُلُوْبِ الْوَجِلِیْنَ وَ تُحَقُّقِ بِتَطَوُّلِکَ اَمَلَ الْاٰمِلِیْنَ وَ تُفِیْضُ سَجَالَ عَطَایَاکَ عَلٰی غَیْرِ الْمُسْتَاہِلِیْنَ ف

Yā Ilāhī, bi-taḥabbunika raw‘āti qulūbi al-wajilīn, wa tuḥaqqiqu bi-taṭawwulika amala al-āmilīn, wa tufīḍu sajāla ‘aṭāyāka ‘alā ghayri al-mustāhilīn.

as You are the one Who can give peace to the living heart and by Your favours, make the wishes of the hopeful come true. Your mercy also showers on the undeserving.

اٰمِنِّیْ بِرَجَآئٍ لاَ یَشُوْبُہٗ قُنُوْطٌ وَ اَمَلٍ لاَ یُکَدِّرُہُ بَاْسٌی

Āminnī bi-rajā’in lā yashūbuhu qunūṭ, wa amal-in lā yukaddiruhu ba’s.

Give me shade in those desires, where there is the sign of despair, and such a hope which is not destined by Your Chastisement.

ا مُحِیْطًا بِکُلِّ شَیْءٍ عِلْمًا وَ قَدْ اَصْبَحْتُ سَیِّدِیْ وَ اَمْسَیْتُ عَلٰی بَابٍ مِنْ اَبْوَابِ مِنَحِکَ سَآئِلاً وَ عَنِ التَّعَرُّضِ لِسِوَاکَ

A Muḥīṭan bi-kulli shay’in ‘ilman, wa qad aṣbaḥtu Sayyidī wa amsaytu ‘alā bābin min abwābi minaḥika sā’ilan, wa ‘ani at-ta‘arruḍi li-siwāk.

O He who has covered everything by His knowledge, O my Master, now my state is such that from dawn to dusk I am begging at the door of Your Mercy and am away from asking from anyone else other than You.

بِالْمَسْأَلَۃِ عَادِلاً وَّ لَیْسَ مِنْ جَمِیْلِ اِمْتِنَانِکَ رَدُّ سَآئِلٍ مَا سُوْرٍ مَلْہُوْفٍ وَ مُضْطَرٍّ لِانْتِظَارِ خَیْرِکَ الْمَالُوْفِی

Bil-mas’alati ‘ādilan, wa laysa min jamīli imtinānika radd-u sā’ilin masūr-in malhūfin wa muḍṭarrin li-intizāri khayrika al-ma’lūf.

And Your immense grace is too great to reject the plea of a beggar, of a person who is imprisoned, one who is inflicted in problems, and one who impatiently awaits Your forgiveness to turn him down

الٰہِیْ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ عَجَزَتِ الْاَوْہَامُ عَنِ الْاِحَاطَۃِ بِکَ وَ کَلَّتِ الْاَلْسُنُ عَنْ نَعْتِ ذٰلِکَ فَبِاٰلَآئِکَ وَ طَوْلِکَ

Ilāhī anta alladhī ‘ajazat al-awhāmu ‘ani al-iḥāṭati bika, wa kallati al-alsunu ‘an na‘ti dhālika, fa-bi-ālā’ika wa ṭawlika.

O my Lord, the strength, intellect and thoughts are incapable to gather knowledge about You and the tongues are dumbstruck in praising You.

صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاغْفِرْلِیْ ذُنُوْبِیْ وَ اَوْسِعْ عَلَیَّ مِنْ فَضْلِکَ الْوَاسَعِ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلٰلاً طَیِّبًا فِیْ عَافِیَۃٍ وَ اَقِلْنِیْ الْعَثْرَۃ

Ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammad, wa aghfir lī dhunūbī, wa awsi‘ ‘alayya min faḍlika al-wāsi‘ rizqan wāsi‘an ḥalālan ṭayyiban fī ‘āfiyatin, wa aqilnī al-‘athrah

Thus send blessings on Mohammed and his progeny by Your Grace and forgive my sins and Grant me pure and excellent and honorable sustenance by Your vast Grace.

یَا غَایَۃَ الْاٰمِلِیْنَ وَ جَبَّارَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِیْنَ وَالْبَاقِیْ بَعْدَ فَنَآءِ الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِیْنَ وَ دَیَّانَ یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِ

Yā Ghāyata al-Āmilīn, wa Jabbāra as-Samāwāti wal-Arḍīn, wa al-Bāqī ba‘da fanā’i al-khalqi ajma‘īn, wa Dayyāna Yawm ad-Dīn.

O the only support of hopeful, O the one having power on the Heavens and the Earth,O the one to remain after the destruction of entire creation, the Judge on the day of reward and punishment,

وَ اَنْتَ یَا مَوْلاَیَ ثِقَۃُ مَنْ لَمْ یَثْقِ بِنَفْسِہٖ لِاِفْرَاطِ خَلَلِہٖ وَ اَمَلُ مَنْ لَمْ یَکُنْ لَہٗ تَاْمِیْلٌ لِکَثْرَۃِ زَلَلِہٖ وَ رَجَآءُ مَنْ لَمْ یَرْتَجِ لِنَفْسِہٖ بِوَسِیْلَۃِ عَمَلِہ

Wa anta yā Mawlāya thiqatu man lam yathiq binafsihī li-ifrāṭi khalalihī, wa amalu man lam yakun lahu ta’mīlun li-kathrati zalalihī, wa rajā’u man lam yartaji linafsihī bi-wasīlati ‘amalih.

O my Lord! One who due to errors does not have trust on himself, then his trust and the hope of the one who does not find any destination and the hope of the one who does not have any hopes left due to his deeds.

الٰہِیْ فَاَنْقِذْنِیْ بِرَحْمَتِکَ مِنَ الْمَہَالِکِ وَ اَحْلِلْنِیْ دَارَ الْاَخْیَارِ وَاجْعَلْنِیْ مِنْ مُرَافِقِیْ الْاَبْرَارِ وَاغْفِرْلِیْ ذُنُوْبَ اللَّیْلِ وَالنَّہَارِ

Ilāhī fa anqiẓnī bi-raḥmatika mina al-mahālik, wa aḥlilnī dāra al-akhyār, wa aj‘alnī min murāfiqī al-abrār, wa aghfir lī dhunūba al-layli wa an-nahār.

O my Lord save me from destruction by Your Mercy, and put me among Your appointed people, count me among the pious ones, forgive my sins of the night and days,

یَا مُطَّلِعًا عَلَی الْاَسْرَارِ اِحْتَمِلْ عَنِّیْ مَوْلاَیَ اَدَآءَ مَا افْتَرَضْتَ عَلَیَّ لِلْاٰبَآءِ وَالْاُمَّہَاتِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَالْاَخْوَاتِ بِلُطْفِکَ وَ کَرِمَکَ یَا ذَاالْجَلاَلِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ وَ اَشْرِکْنَا فِیْ دُعَآءِ مَنِ اسْتَجَبْتَ لَہٗ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ

Yā Muṭṭali‘an ‘ala al-asrār, iḥtamil ‘annī Mawlāya adā’a mā iftaraḍta ‘alayya lil-ābā’i wal-ummahāt, wal-ikhwān wal-akhawāt, bi-luṭfika wa karamika yā Dhā al-Jalāli wal-Ikrām, wa ashriknā fī du‘ā’i man istajabta lahu mina al-mu’minīn wal-mu’mināt.

O the Knower of the secrets of the hearts, O the possessor of grandeur and Majestic, the rights of my parents, brothers, and sisters which are obligatory upon me, You fulfill it and relieve me of it with Your Mercy and include me among those believers, whose supplication You have accepted.

اِنَّکَ جَوَادٌ کَرِیْمٌ وَہَّابٌ صَلَّی اﷲُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِہٖ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِیْمًا

Innaka Jawādun Karīmun Wahhābun, ṣallā Allāhu ‘alā Muḥammadin wa ālihi wa sallama taslīman.

Indeed You are Generous and on excessive forgiver. O Allah send blessings on Mohammad and his progeny and bestow Your best protection
