اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا مَنْ تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ الْأَرَضُونَ السَّبْعُ وَ مَا فِيهِنَّ وَ مَا بَيْنَهُنَّ وَ مَا تَحْتَهُنَّ

O Allah, I ask You, O He for whom the seven earths and all that is within them, and all that is between them, and all that is beneath them, glorify

وَ يَا مَنْ‌ لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صَاحِبَةً وَ لَا وَلَداً

O He who has not taken a consort nor a son,

وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ

and there is no partner in His dominion,

وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَ كَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً

and He has no ally out of humility, and magnify Him with a great magnification,

يَا مَنْ‌ أَنْزَلَ عَلى‌ عَبْدِهِ الْكِتابَ

O He who revealed the Book upon His servant

وَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ عِوَجاً قَيِّماً

without any crookedness, straight,

يَا مَنْ‌ لا يُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَداً

O He who does not share His rule with anyone,

يَا مَنْ نَادَى مُوسَى‌ مِنْ جانِبِ الطُّورِ الْأَيْمَنِ‌ وَ قَرَّبَهُ نَجِيّاً

O He who called Moses from the right side of Mount Sinai and drew him near for conversation,

يَا مَنْ رَفَعَ إِدْرِيسَ‌ مَكاناً عَلِيًّا

O He who raised Enoch to a high place,

يَا مَنْ‌ لَهُ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ

O He to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and on the earth

وَ ما بَيْنَهُما وَ ما تَحْتَ الثَّرى‌

and between them and under the soil,

يَا مَنْ‌ يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَ أَخْفى‌

O He who knows the secret and what is even more hidden,

أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

You are Allah, there is no deity except You,

لَكَ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى

Yours are the most beautiful names,

يَا مَنْ‌ أَعْطى‌ كُلَّ شَيْ‌ءٍ خَلْقَهُ ثُمَّ هَدى‌

O He who gave everything its creation and then guided it,

يَا مَنْ خَشَعَتْ لَهُ الْأَصْوَاتُ‌ فَلا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْساً

O He for whom the voices are subdued, you hear nothing but whispers,

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَا نَاجَيْتُكَ بِهِ مِنْ مِدْحَتِكَ [وَ نَاجَاكَ بِهِ مَنْ مَدَحَكَ‌] فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا

O Allah, I ask You by what I have privately conversed with You from Your praise today,

طَلَباً لِعَفْوِكَ وَ خَوْفاً مِنْ عَذَابِكَ

seeking Your pardon, fearing Your punishment,

وَ طَمَعاً فِي إِحْسَانِكَ وَ رَجَاءً لِمَا عِنْدَك

hoping for what is with You, longing for Your benevolence,

وَ رَغْبَةً فِي رِضَاكَ وَ سَعَةً فِي رِزْقِكَ وَ تَفَضُّلِكَ

desiring Your pleasure, expanding in Your sustenance and Your grace,

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ

to bless Muhammad and his pure family,

وَ تُؤْنِسَ وَحْشَتِي وَ تَصِلَ وَحْدَتِي

to comfort my solitude, to connect my isolation,

وَ تُعِزُّ ذِلَّتِي وَ تَسْتُرَ عَوْرَتِي وَ تَجْبُرَ فَاقَتِي

to honor my humility, to cover my flaws, to compensate for my need,

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَجَائِي وَ ثِقَتِي

O Allah, You are my hope and my trust,

فَأَعِنِّي عَلَى مَنْ ظَلَمَنِي

so assist me against those who oppress me,

وَ انْصُرْنِي عَلَى مَنْ بَغَى عَلَيَّ

support me against those who seek to harm me,

وَ أَرَادَ أَذِيَّتِي وَ احْفَظْنِي فِي نَفْسِي وَ مَالِي وَ دِينِي

and guard me in my soul, wealth, religion,

وَ أَهْلِي وَ وُلْدِي وَ أَعْتِقْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ

family, and children, and free me from the Fire,

وَ ارْزُقْنِي الْجَنَّةَ وَ الْأَمْنَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

and grant me Paradise and security in this world and the Hereafter,

وَ لَا تُحْوِجْنِي إِلَى غَيْرِكَ

and do not make me in need of anyone other than You

بِفَضْلِكَ الْمَبْذُولِ‌ وَ إِحْسَانِكَ الْمَأْمُولِ

by Your freely bestowed grace and anticipated benevolence,

‌ إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَ هُوَ عَلَيْكَ يَسِيرٌ

indeed, You are capable of all things, and it is easy for You,

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.

and may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.
