يَا رَحْمَانَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ رَحِيمَهُمَا

O the Merciful in this world, and the Hereafter and the Compassionate

وَ يَا جَبَّارَ الدُّنْيَا وَ يَا مَالِكَ الْمُلُوكِ وَ يَا رَازِقَ الْعِبَادِ

O Compeller of the world and King of the dominions! O Provider of sustenance for the people!

هَذَا شَهْرُ التَّوْبَةِ وَ هَذَا شَهْرُ الثَّوَابِ وَ هَذَا شَهْرُ الرَّجَاءِ

This is the month of repentance. This is the month of rewards. This is the month of the hopes

وَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

And You are All-Hearing All-Knowing

أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

وَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ الَّذِينَ‌ لا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ لا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ‌

I ask You to include me amongst Your Servants in the ranks of the righteous – those who have no fear nor any grief

وَ أَنْ تَسْتُرَنِي بِالسِّتْرِ الَّذِي لَا يَهْتِكُ

Please give me coverage with Your Cover that does not tear

وَ تُجَلِّلَنِي بِعَافِيَتِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُرَامُ وَ تُعْطِيَنِي سُؤْلِي وَ تُدْخِلَنِي الْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

and bless me with Your Well-Being that does not end. Please grant my requests. Let me into Paradise by Your Mercy

وَ أَنْ لَا تَدَعَ لِي ذَنْباً إِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ وَ لَا هَمّاً إِلَّا فَرَّجْتَهُ

Please do not let any sins left for me that You have not forgiven, no grief that You do not alleviate

وَ لَا كُرْبَةً إِلَّا كَشَفْتَهَا وَ لَا حَاجَةً إِلَّا قَضَيْتَهَا

no troubles that You do not remove, no needs that you do not fulfill

بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

for the sake of Muhammad and his Progeny

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْأَجَلُّ الْأَعْظَمُ

for You are the Grand, the Exalted!
