يَا كَهْفِي حِينَ تُعْيِينِي الْمَذَاهِبُ وَ مَلْجَئِي حِينَ تَقِلُّ بِيَ الْحِيَلُ وَ يَا بَارِئَ خَلْقِي رَحْمَةً بِي وَ كُنْتَ عَنْ خَلْقِي غَنِيّاً

“O‟ my shelter when various roads constrict me! O‟ my Resting place when I run out of plans! O‟ He who created me although You were needless of my creation.

يَا مُؤَيِّدِي بِالنَّصْرِ عَلَى أَعْدَائِي وَ لَوْ لَا نَصْرُكَ إِيَّايَ لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمَغْلُوبِينَ

O‟ He who is my help against my enemies! Were it not for Your Help I would have been of the defeated ones.

وَ يَا مُقِيلَ عَثْرَتِي وَ لَوْ لَا سَتْرُكَ عَوْرَتِي لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمَفْضُوحِينَ

O‟ He who overlooks my slippage! Were it not for Your Covering of my defects I would have been of the disgraced ones.

وَ يَا مُرْسِلَ الرِّيَاحِ مِنْ مَعَادِنِهَا وَ يَا نَاشِرَ الْبَرَكَاتِ مِنْ مَوَاضِعِهَا

O‟ the sender of the winds from their source! O‟ He who distributes blessings from their places!

وَ يَا مَنْ خَصَّ نَفْسَهُ بِشُمُوخِ الرِّفْعَةِ فَأَوْلِيَاؤُهُ بِعِزَّتِهِ يَتَعَزَّزُونَ

O‟ He who distinguished Himself with Grandeur and Dignity. And His friends are honored due to His Honor.

وَ يَا مَنْ وَضَعَ نِيرَ [قهر] الْمَذَلَّةِ عَلَى أَعْنَاقِ الْمُلُوكِ فَهُمْ مِنْ سَطَوَاتِهِ خَائِفُونَ

O‟ He who has placed the yoke of humiliation around the necks of the kings and they are fearful of His Might.

أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي هُوَ مِنْ نُورِكَ

I ask You by Your Name which is derived from Your Light.

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِنُورِكَ الَّذِي هُوَ مِنْ كَيْنُونَتِكَ [كَيْنُونِيَّتِكَ‌]و

I ask You by Your Light which is derived from Your Being.

َ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكَيْنُونَتِكَ [كَيْنُونِيَّتَكَ‌] الَّتِي هِيَ مِنْ كِبْرِيَائِكَ و

I ask You by Your Being which is derived from Your Magnificence.

َ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكِبْرِيَائِكَ الَّتِي هِيَ مِنْ عَظَمَتِكَ

I ask You by Your Magnificance which is derived from Your Grandeur.

ووَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِعَظَمَتِكَ الَّتِي هِيَ مِنْ عِزَّتِكَ

I ask You by Your Grandeur which is derived from Your Might.

َ أَسْأَلُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُرَامُ وَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ الَّتِي خَلَقْتَ بِهَا خَلْقَكَ فَهُمْ لَكَ مُذْعِنُونِ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْأَجَلِّ الْأَعْظَمِ الْمُبِينُ

I ask You by Your Might which never collapses and I ask You by Your Power with which You created all creatures so that they be obedient to You, and by Your Exalted, the Great, the Clear Name.

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ أَنْ تَقْضِيَ عَنِّي دَيْنِي وَ تُغْنِينِي مِنَ الْفَقْرِ وَ تُمَتِّعَنِي بِسَمْعِي وَ بَصَرِي وَ تَجْعَلَهُمَا الْوَارِثَيْنِ مِنِّي

Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB). Help me pay back my debts; enrich me at times of my poverty; let me enjoy my hearing and sight;

وَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْوَاسِعِ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَحْتَسِبُ وَ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا أَحْتَسِبُ

let them be inheritors from me and provide for me from Your Extensive Nobility through means I count on and means I do not count on.

فَإِنَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ لِكُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ وَ مُؤْمِنَةٍ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

O‟ God! Verily There is no Change or Power except with You. O‟ Lord! And please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB). Forgive me and all believing men and women. O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”
